Company info

Software Notion was founded in 2011 as a hobby software development "company". At this point, primarily software for our own usage and for friends was created and maintained. Also, a WPF MVVM framework was built at this time. It is still used today by the company CVA GmbH.

A few years later, in 2014, the domain was registered, and a small base was created. From here on, the first plans for making Software Notion a real company were prepared.

At the beginning of 2017, Software Notion started to ship apps through the Apple AppStore and the Google PlayStore. All apps where distributed under the developer name "Sebastian Kruse". Later this year also a registration for the Microsoft app store was done, shortly before they announced the end of Windows Mobile.

In August 2010 Sebastian started his apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development. However, he already showed interest in software development before. He could shorten his apprenticeship, due to very good performance. He continued to acquire more knowledge and experience with a permanent contract. Shortly after starting he took over the lead of the software development team at CVA GmbH. He left the company in February 2017. Since then Sebastian is working for Kolbus GmbH & Co. KG. The company was bought by Müller Martini AG in January 2018. In parallel to his permanent contracts he continued to work on multiple apps in his free time. These apps were the basis for Software Notion.
